oh seems good..i'd like to see the results, not always are 3D versions of an excellent 2d character design like gabriel the faun would be as appealing and alive as your lines . i hope it's done well :)
or may be i'm just a great fan of your sketches! :)

I guess we met briefly in A-Film. I had the pleasure to paint some of your layouts, remember? Did you do the Prof's lab?

Beautiful work.
I'm sorry not to have asked for permission, it wasn't intentional. I've put a link to your blog, so I pretended to identify the author of the illustration. I’m new in this blog world, so I’m making some mistakes.
My apologies, I swear I’ll ask next time. And sorry for my English, I’m not used to write in English.
Congratulations for your great work.

The faun is quite lovely. Success! Good luck as you continue with this.

Your moleskin storyboards below are beyond description. But we'll say they are gorgeous.

When you board with Artpad, do you export the panels afterwards to Photoshop in order to print them?

Cheers! :)

beautiful color keys! looking forward to see more!

Robin Hall said...

wow, Yaxin, it still looks really close to being classically drawn,

brilliant! I think you really have to have a vision of how you want a model to look before you start modeling it so that it doesn't turn out looking like a 3d model, and you've definitly achieved that!

I can't wait to see more
